On March 17 in the network of the project "Musical Nights in Bolshoi" – the concert "Ringing of the Old Fairytale".
The history of culture and art of each nation never develops separately, its character forms in many ways in constant dialogue with other cultures. The dialogue that lets not only get to know and understand, but also accept another culture, become the bearer of ‘the strange’ one and the carrier of its own traditions, and, as a consequence, bring out its own mechanism of development and define the originality of its own culture. As a rule, the result of such a dialogue, one of the forms of which – the literary and poetic translation – is the perception of senses, images, thoughts within its own language system, the opportunity to make ‘the different’ part of ‘its own’ universal meaning, expressing in creation of acknowledged masterpieces of visual art, literature, music, poetry… In this sense, the concert that will be held on March 17 in the Chamber Hall after L.P.Aleksandrovskaya within the XX festival "Revival of the Belarussian Cappella" is unique. First of all, because it is a concert-presentation of the book of translations of the written in verse texts of vocal cycles of German composers of the XVIII-XX centuries of the famous Belarussian poet and interpreter Vasil Semukha. Psalter", Goethe's tragedy "Faust" etc. The pearls of the world chamber classics for the first time on the Belarussian stage – fragments of vocal cycles by F. Schubert, R. Schumann, J. Brahms, R. Wagner, G. Maller will be heard on the Belarussian language. In the performance of the young theatre soloists – Helena Zolova and Yuriy Gorodetskiy, Natalia Akinina and Helena Bundeleva, Vladimir Gromov and Yanosh Nelepa, and also the guests of the concert: Grigoriy Polishuk, soloist of the music theatre Lesi Lut.
