On 20 April the grand opening of II VLADIMIR SPIVAKOV INVITES International Festival will be held at the Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus.
On 20 April the grand opening of II VLADIMIR SPIVAKOV INVITES International Festival will be held at the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus. The most outstanding singers of the CIS and Europe will take part in the World Opera Stars Grand Gala Concert which will be accompanied by the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia conducted by maestro Vladimir Splivakov, People’s Artist of the USSR.
Laureates of international contests Ivan Magri, a famous Italian tenor, Luciano Pavarotti’s student, soloist of opera houses in Rome, Bologna and Genoa, as well as leading soloist of the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre of Russia Anna Aglatova (sporano), Belarusian bass Anatoly Sivko, performing at the best European opera houses, and the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia will perform the pearls of the world classic including immortal arias and orchestra fragments from the operas by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Giuseppe Verdi, Charles Gounod, Georges Bizet.

On 21 April the big house of the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus will turn into an old cinema and take the audience to the unique atmosphere of silent films of the 1930-s.
In the evening the Belarusian premiere of the unique project will be held: the audience will be shown the immortal Charlie Chaplin’s City Lights which was a big success in Moscow (Russia) and Colmar (France). The music to the film, written by Charlie Chaplin, will be played by 120 musicians of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia conducted by the outstanding maestro Vladimir Spivakov.
